As a Jasper Intimate Wedding Photographer, I love when couples come to me with a specific place they want to get married at that has special meaning to them. It is such an honour to be invited to these places with them and to capture their love. Jasper National Park is full of stunning locations and for this wedding, Sam & Miguel chose a beautiful spot down by the water where two paths of a river converge together. This perfectly signified their journey, as they happened to cross paths on a beach in Cambodia and from there, life as they knew it changed.
These two chose to have a first look on Pyramid Island, which was such a sweet way to start the day. There was twirling, laughs, tears, kisses, and an impromptu dance party. It was perfect. After their first look, we cruised around the island for a while. It was so neat when Miguel pointed out the mountain he had climbed previously.
After their first look, we headed back to the hotel them and their families were staying at for a quick break and to pick up some items for their ceremony. All packed up, we headed down to the Snaring River in Jasper National Park. Sam and Miguel selected Snaring River as the site of their ceremony as it is a special place to them. They would often camp around there and have made such fond memories and so earlier this summer, they mutually decided that they would get married there. Their families were able to join them and they had such an intentional and emotional ceremony. They ended the day there with a picnic, champagne, and lots of laughs. Thank you for having me along to capture this magical day! I hope to cross paths with you two again up on a mountain somewhere!
Let me help craft an intentional and stress-free wedding experience while I document the story of your day.
Thank you so much!
